why do i never update my journal?
sighh. thanks for keeping me around guys! i read all of your entries everyday, but rarely find anything interesting enough to say to make my own post.
I'm at my internship right now, updating. haha. Before this I was writing my last Critical Essay for my Presidency class.
Well, well, I never thought I'd say this, but in just 9 short days, I will be a college graduate! I have no real job lined up, so I'm a little nervous. I have an interview at a Bank and as a Secretary at a Mortgage Company this week, but neither of these things are related to my field of Political Science what so everrrrr. So. Big fail on my part.
Finals week is totally kicking my ass. So is Senioritis. I hope I didn't fail all three of my finals that I had yesterday.
I'm super excited for graduation, it's a weird feeling knowing that come September, when everyone else is going back to school, I won't be.
Unfortunately, Steve is only a junior now, so he'll still be there for another year.
ummmmm. well, shit. i don't have anything else to say. i really only updated because it's been 14 weeks and i don't want you to all think that i've died.

i haven't been this happy in... i just, i can't remember how long.
at least since around my birthday. i almost forgot what it was like.

i just had a major breakthrough in my weight loss efforts. i was able to fit into my junior AND senior prom dresses. holy shit. they didn't even zipper all the way two months ago. i'm so happy =D!

some of the hardest decisions in our lives are choosing which bridges to cross, and which bridges to burn.
keeping this in mind, i'm going to say goodbye to someone who was once so dear to me. but through the past few months, i've realized this person is not a good person at all.

so, i got back to rowan on sunday, and i've already had a killer time.
sunday was kim's birthday, so we all went out to applebee's and had the waiters and waitresses embarrass her haha. then we came back to the apartment and had a few drinks. i had more than a fewww. hahahah. i believe i went to sleep somewhere in the realm of 7am...ish. hahah.
so i slept in until about 4 or 5 on monday afternoon haha. then went to dinner and bowling with ben, bob and jill. and i must say, i didn't do too bad. it was lots of fun, though. and it was awesome seeing jill again.
i have my first class in about a half hour. tuesdays are freakin awesome, because i just have this one logic class, and it's with bob. so that's pretty sweet. i've heard some people say Logic was really easy, and other people tell me it's really hard...soooo we'll see. haha. i have high hopes that i do even better this semester than i did last semester.
and, just for the record, i'm in love with the song dusk and summer.

new years eve: went down to rowan and partied with the rowan kids. it was such good times! i drank and entire bottle of wonderful champagne all to myself. i saw my joshypoop. we all just had such a good time. i don't think i would have as much fun if i went anywhere else.
so, my rowan grades have finally all come in, and i'm fairly pleased

Intro to Macroeconomics: A
TOTAL GPA FOR THE SEMESTER: 3.26
this is the best i've done since i've been to rowan. changing my major was the smartest decision i've ever made. grades still need to come WAAAAAAAAY up, but law school seems like more and more of a possibility.
only 12 more days until i go back to rowan for another semester. i cannot tell you how fast the first semester flew by. time and time just goes faster and faster the older i get.

soooooooo. christmas came early at my apartment with my mom and brother. and we opened our presents on the afternoon of the 24th. i must say, i made out like a bandit. later that night, we ventured to middletown to spend the night at my Dad's. Presents were exchanged and I went to bed around 4am haha. I woke up at 7 to my little sister screaming in my ear "SANTA WAS HEREEEE WAKE UP RACHEL!" ugh. hahah. left there around 11 cause i was hella tired, came home and PASSED out on my couch ahah.

i went to get cigarettes tonight, and my fucking car's "check engine" light came on. fucking sweet. i've had this car for 3 months and there's already been so much shit wrong with it. i fucking hate this car. it was supposed to be better than my camry. my camry was a '92 with 226,000 miles on it, and never gave me an ounce of real trouble. i now own a '97 mitsubishi galant with 79,000 miles on it with a busted alarm system, a busted radio, and a busted engine. i fucking hate my car.
soooo, all in all, not a bad christmas. i (hopefully) have lots to look forward to this up comming week. i'll elaborate later, i don't wanna get my hopes up if it doesn't all go through.

1. Being 90 miles away from you, and not talking to you in months still isn't enough. Hate is a strong word, but i really really really don't like you.
2. You have been there for me my entire life (practically). I don't know what I'd do without a friend like you in my life. You're beautiful, and don't ever let anyone make you believe any different. We will die next to eachother on our deathbeds watching Degrassi. You mean the entire world to me.
3. You worry too much about what other people think, and other people's happiness, and you never put yourself first. I believe that you are one of the kindest people I know, and you deserve so much better than what you're dealt sometimes. You try your best to keep a smile on your face and remain strong, I love that about you. But I want you to know that it's okay to break down every now and again, no one will kill you for it. And please, try to stop thinking so much about what other people want out of you, and start thinking about what you want out of yourself.
4. There are so many things that I would like to say to you. You gave me hope, you know. You helped me to believe that it was okay to let my guard down. I miss pulling all nighters with you, and exchanging youtube videos. I hope you find everything that you're looking for, and I want you to know that my door is always open for you anytime you need to bum a microwave. I miss movie nights, I miss box o' wine, I miss walks to the marketbasket. In due time, I know we can get back to the place we were when we first met.
